Zoe’s Fight Foundation

At Expressions Australia, we’re privileged to support incredible stories and causes. One of the most touching projects we’ve been part of is with Zoe’s Fight Foundation, a Geelong based, volunteer run charity founded in memory of Zoe, a beautiful five year old who lost her battle with a rare brain cancer in 2017.

In March 2017, Zoe was diagnosed with giant cell glioblastoma, a rare and incurable brain tumour. Her brave fight lasted nine months. Despite the heartbreak, her family channelled their grief into purpose, establishing Zoe’s Fight Foundation to raise awareness and vital research funds for paediatric brain cancer, Australia’s leading disease killer in children under 14.

As part of their ongoing fundraising, Zoe’s mum Penny collaborated with us to transform Zoe’s joyful artwork into full-colour tea towel keepsakes. Bright, bold and bursting with personality, just like Zoe, the tea towels were sold at the Zoe’s Fight Foundation Gala Ball and continue to raise funds through their online store.

From rainbows to unicorns, the design captures Zoe’s essence and brings a smile to everyone who sees it. Alongside her artwork is a sweet photo of Zoe herself. Every dollar raised has been directed towards early phase clinical trials at the Royal Children’s Hospital, giving children diagnosed with brain cancer a fighting chance.
