Did you know Expressions won the Best Eco-Friendly Award in the Fundraising Awards? We’re proud as punch because we’re all about creating sustainable, long-lasting tea towel keepsakes and fundraising gifts that don’t end up in landfill.
Our tea towels, aprons and bags are crafted from GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton. That means the cotton is ethically grown, and the inks we use are non-toxic, solvent-free and safe enough for baby wear. Even our packaging and mailers are certified recyclable.
As a company, we strive to keep our footprint small:
- We run a paperless office, processing as much as possible electronically
- We prioritise local suppliers, and ethically assess any overseas partners
- We recycle everything we can, from shipping boxes to marketing materials
Why GOTS Matters
GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard, and it's the gold benchmark for sustainable textiles. To be certified, a product must:
- Contain at least 70% organic fibre content
- Be processed without toxic chemicals
- Meet strict environmental and social criteria across the entire supply chain
- Ensure no child labour and safe working conditions

What products can we choose from for our fundraiser?
Our range includes tea towels, tote bags, and aprons. All are made with certified organic cotton and are ideal as personalised keepsakes.
How long does a fundraiser take to run?
It usually takes 3–6 weeks from start to finish (peak period Oct-Nov). We support you every step of the way.
Are Expressions products safe for children?
Yes! All inks used are certified safe for use on baby and children's items, and our fabrics meet global organic standards.
Can we run a fundraiser outside of schools?
Absolutely. We also work with clubs, community groups, and childcare centres. Everyone is welcome!
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Minimum order is 40 items per product type – perfect for groups big or small. Please note for designs with 250+ drawings there is a minimum order of 100 units.
