A Community Coming Together
Students from Caulfield Grammar ELC Malvern campus, including Lucia’s older sister Sofia and cousin Marcel, joined their classmates to design unique butterfly illustrations. These heartfelt artworks were transformed into custom printed tea towels and tote bags. Every detail captured the love, creativity and spirit of a community determined to make a difference.
Why Butterflies?
Butterflies hold deep symbolism for the Crinis family. They were released at Lucia’s memorial, becoming a lasting reminder of her vibrant spirit. By featuring butterflies in their artwork, the children created a design that was both personal and meaningful, reminding everyone of the importance of connection and remembrance.
Fundraising with Purpose
Proceeds from the tea towels and bags supported the Cardiology Ward at The Royal Children’s Hospital, a place that provided comfort to Lucia’s family. This project not only raised funds but also highlighted how ethical fundraising ideas can make a lasting impact on both communities and charities.
