Recently we received some wonderful feedback from fundraising coordinator Claire of Holy Rosary Primary School in Derby, WA. She had this to say about choosing to fundraise with Expressions –“The whole experience was fantastic, from the moment I made initial contact to the day the product was delivered everything was so easy and we were kept informed of the process the whole way through.”

We followed up with Claire to find out more info about the schools’ fundraising goals and how they went about selling all of their tea towels so successfully…

“We didn’t have a fundraising goal for the sale of the tea towels as such, just an overall goal for the year. We are raising funds for a number of projects including interschool shirts so that when the students compete against other schools in sports events they have a ‘uniform’ to wear. Also raising for school camps and to improve the sporting equipment /facilities at the school.

To sell the tea towels we put up posters everywhere around the school, advertised in the school newsletter and the school P&F Facebook page and reminded the kids at school constantly to tell their parents. All of this gave us a number of tea towels to order from you, we ordered extra and have since sold them at other fundraising events such as a monthly hamburger stall at the local night markets and also a car boot sale the school recently held.”

Great tips for maximising a fundraising project at other school related events, thank you Claire!
