When coordinator Tracey from Sacred Heart College in New Town, Tasmania emailed us this feedback, we wanted to reach out and discover more about her fundraising tips and success – ” Hi, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your wonderful help with our order, the tea towels are amazing and we are so happy. So far we have raised $638 and I hope to reach over $1000 with the extra tea towels I have. Thank you again so very much!”.

We asked Tracey how she marketed the tea towel project and her top tips for other coordinators? – “We sent an initial letter home with students, put notices in our newsletter and posted notices on our school Facebook pages. As it was a Parents & Friends initiative we documented it in our minutes as well when we discussed it at our monthly¬† meetings. I also kept the primary teachers in the loop by emailing them regularly with updates in case parents asked them any questions, communication I think helps a lot.”

The profits raised will go towards extra things on the primary campus such as musical instruments, outdoor furniture and building blocks. We’re sure you’ll crack the $1k mark very soon – well done Sacred Heart and thanks Tracey for sharing your advice and this gorgeous photo of your two kids Elizabeth & Angus with their tea towels.
