For the second instalment of our staff profile series we’re shining the spotlight on our founder Emma!
From humble beginnings as a one-woman operation working out of her garage when her oldest child was still in nappies, to now employing a team of professionals who work with schools, clubs, organisations and businesses all across the country! Emma has shared her wealth of knowledge as a speaker and mentor many times, so we thought we’d ask her a few of the serious questions (and some not so serious ones!).
How would you describe yourself in 3 words? Friendly, Generous, Mum.
How would your kids describe you in 3 words? (Emma is Mum to 2 teenagers and a 9yr old) Loving, Dependable, Best.
What is the best advice you have for other working mothers juggling their work/home life balance? Have some quick fix easy dinners in your arsenal and let go of your ‘mother guilt’, rather than focus on times you’re not with your children, think about how much you contribute to your family and the role model you are!
What have been some of your career highlights? I am very proud to have achieved my goal of starting my own business, allowing me to work and be a flexible mum. It is very satisfying to run a business where everyone wins.
