If we had to name some examples of fantastic childcare centres that we’ve worked with over the last decade, we can’t go past one particular Goodstart ELC in Sydney. They have coordinated a tea towel project every year since 2012 and have each one framed and proudly on display in the centre. It just so happens that this is precisely what we had to do earlier in the year when asked to suggest a daycare centre in Sydney that the Today Show could film from. Weather host Natalia Cooper and the team did six live crosses over the morning to showcase Expressions and Goodstart ELC was the ideal centre to film from – we were lucky that they were just as thrilled about the opportunity as we were!

We asked the centre director a few questions about their experience over the years working with us…

What do you love most about our tea towels? “For me the tea towels are my memories, I consider Mosman my ‘working home’ and the tea towels with the images of the children and educators are the people who have contributed to our centre and made it was it is today and they are our memories of time passed.”¬†

How do you go about spreading the word to families when selling them and is it a successful fundraiser or more of a keepsake? “We don’t use it as a fundraiser but rather a memento for the families. We just share the information on Storypark that we are doing it, from images of the children doing them and then in our weekly share. Once we have the sample print back from you we then share this and it always sparks people wanting more.”

Thank you for EVERYTHING! We cherish our long-running relationships and yours is a very special one!
