Creative Father’s Day Apron Gift

The Prep students at Australian Christian College in Moreton QLD learnt some new artwork skills when creating their Father’s Day gift aprons and tea towels. Their teacher Margaret explained that they were going to be drawing a face of their Dad to be printed on an apron and they viewed a YouTube tutorial which gave them all a similar guide – click here for video.

Working individually with the Teachers Aide they followed the guided instructions and were encouraged to think about their dad and draw his hair accordingly – bald, curly, long, short etc. The end result is one of the cutest portrait designs we’ve seen in a long time! Not only did they create a handy apron for Dad with his face, they also designed a tea towel with their handprints. Such thoughtful gifts for their families that are also a gorgeous reminder of their early school year. Well done to everyone at ACC Moreton, we hope the Dads love them and you all treasure them for years to come.
