Jodie was travelling through NSW and says the only souvenir she bought on her travels was a sheep themed tea towel from the Hay Visitors Centre. She contacted us from our details on the tag and decided to create some of her own Expressions tea towels as a fundraiser for her children’s school. The children drew their happy faces and the parents ordered flooded in. As Jodie started early in the year, Richmond Public School took advantage of our Early Bird Free Tea Towel offer and went into the draw to Win $1000 Cash and yes, you guessed it, they won!!!
We just love this story from start to finish, thank you Jodie and all the children and staff who helped create this wonderful keepsake, we look forward to working with you again. Below is some feedback from Jodie, received after the school tea towels had arrived (and before winning their prize).
“I am new to fundraising and this would have to be by far, the easiest fundraising event/project I have run to date. To be honest I was not 100% confident I would sell 30 tea towels, but the students artwork was incredible and they produced self-portraits that were beautiful, zany, funny and quite insightful. The feedback I have received from the parents and community has been overwhelming, they cannot believe the quality and the results. I marketed them as a great keepsake, gift or useful household item and ended up selling 274 tea towels, which isn’t bad for a school of 355 and I made a fantastic profit. I would recommend Expressions to anyone! Thank you again for all your assistance”. Jodie Stanley, Richmond Public School, NSW
