When is a good time to do a fundraiser?
Group tea towels, aprons and bags can be used as a fabulous way to celebrate special occasions such as a final year at school, anniversary or open day and are popular as gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Christmas.

How many drawings can we include?
One tea towel can contain small groups or large, up to a maximum of 450 portraits in one design. Both small and large numbers look great, however for groups with numbers over 200 we ask you draw faces only. Very large schools may decide to split into groups, such as Junior and Senior, or one design for each year level – if you do decide on more than one design remember that each unique design requires a minimum order of 50. Aprons can include up to 300 drawings and bags up to a maximum of 150.

What colours can we print in?
We have 15 standard colours in our range (open the 'Custom Designed Coordinators Guide Page 2' from our Downloads page located within 'How It Works' to view the standard colours). There should be something to suit everyone, but if you have a special request simply provide us with the printing code or a colour sample, which we will match. Our designs are based on a single colour print, you can however print in more than one colour, simply call for a quote. Our screen printing ink is fully colourfast, fade resistant and long wearing.

How are the drawings positioned?
The pictures can be placed in either landscape or portrait format. If you choose a 'DIY dollar saver' you will lay out the pictures yourself. If you go with the ‘custom design’ style, we will scan in your pictures (then clean up any smudges and enlarge names if necessary) and lay out the drawings for you, adding your group’s name and logo to your specifications. We offer a range of border designs, fonts and layout options. You can have everyone laid out in random order or separated into class groups (see our examples page for ideas on class group layouts).

How long does it take?
Allow at least 6 weeks for Custom Designs and 4 weeks for DIY Dollar Savers. In term 4 allow an extra 2 weeks due to the huge Christmas demand. The length of time it takes to complete the drawings or designs at your end is up to you - some groups are finished drawing in one day and others take a few weeks. For ‘custom designs’, the final layout will be ready for you to check and approve 2-3 weeks after we receive your artwork, in term 4 allow up to 4 weeks. Once you approve the design OR we have received your ‘DIY’ layout sheet ready to go, the tea towels will be printed and ready to courier within 7 working days. You will then need to allow time for the delivery (despatch is from Melbourne by courier). If you have a deadline to meet, or live in a remote area, let us know as early as possible.

How many do we need to order?
The minimum order for each print run is 50. If you are printing more than one design, each unique design will be treated individually in regard to pricing. Please NOTE: Due to the amount of work involved custom designs containing over 200 drawings MUST order a minimum of 100, over 300 drawings MUST order 150 and over 400 drawings at least 200.

Can we do a design without drawings?
Yes, we can create a design using your crest, logo, a sketch or signatures to celebrate an anniversary or special event. Another popular style is using class lists with all the student names – past or present. We have also helped many corporate clients, small businesses, sporting clubs, animal shelters, theatres, church and social groups. Check out the examples page for ideas.

What borders can we use?
We have 10 standard borders to choose from and many more on file that we’ve created over the years (open the 'Custom Designed Cordinators Guide Page 2' from our Downloads page located within 'How It Works' to view the standard borders). Alternatively let us help you create your own unique border. There is no extra charge for this special service. We welcome your ideas and are happy to put together an original border, just for you. Many schools have text included in the border, such as school details or teachers’ names or use pictures of animals or their logo to create something distinctive.

Can we reorder?
The minimum reorder quantity is 20. Reorders are available anytime at your original purchase price; for example if you originally purchased 200 tea towels at $6 each, your reorder of 20 will be charged at $6 each.

What are the tea towels like?
Our extra large white tea towels are made specifically for our needs from white high quality 100% cotton 50x70cm. If you require linen or linen/cotton tea towels please contact us for a quote.
